When picking an eBay user name back in 1998 I decided ArtFromNY would be descriptive and easy to remember.  In the ensuing years, the name seems to have stuck all too well; I still get checks made out to "Art Fromny".  Gives the bank tellers a grin, and bowing to the inevitable, here is the much awaited (by some, anyway :) Artfromny home page.

A word to potential corporate customers viewing this site: I write with a light style, and am a one man operation.  You may not be used to dealing with a small operation such as mine.  However, I have owned a department-store oriented electronic service business for 35 years, and have had a staff of 14 at one time.  I can assure you there is no better exercise in customer service than dealing with a salesman who has a customer with a dead product; if you are looking for test equipment I am sure you can relate :) Siemens, Thyssen-Krupp, Korea Air, Grumman, Honeywell, Union Pacific Railroad, and the Royal Australian Air Force are among my customers, as well as numerous other large and small companies.
